Schools and Churches
Our recycling containers will be placed in the school or church parking lot at a convenient and easy-to-see location chosen by you where they will remain year-round to be utilized even when school may not be in session. These containers will be provided at no cost and will remain the property of Schaffer Recycling. If you participate in a paper recycling program, it is best to locate our recycling containers next to your current paper recycling container; this will make it easy for the community to participate in both recycling programs.

The containers will be serviced and maintained regularly by an employee of Schaffer Recycling. During the first two months, we will service the containers at least twice a week to help determine the volume that will be generated and create an appropriate service schedule.If at any time you notice that the containers are overflowing or in need of maintenance, simply notify us; we will do our best to have the containers serviced or replaced within two hours.Once a quarter, a check will be sent to your school or church for your share of the revenue.All we ask from you is your encouragement of the program to your students or congregation through the occasional mention during your morning announcements and in your school newspapers or newsletters. Your teachers should also be encouraged to mention the program periodically in their letters to parents.
